The HFLF Athena Homes is a two-year Transitional Age Youth Program in Alhambra and San Gabriel.  The program was developed in collaboration with the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Children and Family Services.  This project serves 18 young adults ages 18 – 21 who suffer from mental disabilities. The first two sites opened on December 1, 2002 and the third site opened on April 1, 2003. 

Clients are emancipated youth from the foster care system. During their two year residency in this housing, clients will benefit from an extensive array of services and life skills training to assist them in preparing for a less structured living environment.
